Jake Greene

John "Jake" Greene, II is a seasoned worship leader, musician, and
songwriter. Born and raised in Alexandria, VA., he began playing the
piano at the age of 5. He began musically accompanying his Sunday School at the age of 7.  Four years later, under the mentorship of his father, John Greene I, he began singing in and training choirs. Jake began playing for all of the choirs at his church by the age of 13.

In May 2004, Jake received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. There he served as the director for the Black Voices Gospel choir and as the praise & worship leader for the Impact Movement, a branch of Campus Crusade for Christ Ministries. God blessed Jake with an opportunity to participate in a
mission’s trip in Cape Town, South Africa at the beginning of 2002.

Shortly after God opened many doors of ministry for Jake to lead worship and direct choirs all over the state of Virginia, North Carolina, Washington, DC., St. Louis, MO, Indianapolis, IN., and Los Angeles, CA. Jake led the Youth Choir of the National Church of God to win
first place in the small choir competition at the Delmarva-DC Teen Talent competition in April 2006.

Currently Jake serves as the Assistant Music Minister and Chief Musician at National Church of God under Pastor Stephen Lowery, Senior Pastor and Minister Rosalind Lynch, Director of Church Music and Worship.

Jake’s ultimate desire is to please God with his lifestyle, exemplify Jesus through his witness, and serve the body of Christ by continually creating an atmosphere of worship conducive to allowing all to connect with God.

One Voice

We are a worship ministry dedicated to spiritual integrity and
musical excellence. God’s conviction to not only minister in
excellence but to live in holiness is our foundation and
imparting that excellence and Godly lifestyle (changing lives in
the process) is our vision.

A very prophetic ministry, we are very sensitive to atmosphere
setting. Our desire is to hear God, interpret what He says in
song, and minister that message effectively. We don’t desire
to put out music just for the sake of new music, but our true
desire is to make sure that we’re ministering the heart and
message of God for His body.
